About

what-time is an on-device neural schedule parser that converts natural-language phrases in English, Hindi, and Hinglish, such as "call mom on sunday evening", into structured dates, time ranges, and RFC 5545 recurrence rules. A roughly 144,000-parameter transformer tags each token with a semantic role, then a deterministic compiler and calendar resolver produce the exact dates, so invalid parses fail with a diagnostic rather than a silently wrong date.

Why it made the leaderboard

A tiny on-device transformer plus a deterministic compiler turns natural-language scheduling phrases in English, Hindi or Hinglish into exact dates and RFC 5545 rules, with no network call and no silent wrong answers.
