The programmatic payment flow introduced in OpenRouter's Crypto Payments API announcement is no longer supported. The announcement presented scripted on-chain payments for model access, but OpenRouter's current documentation says Coinbase deprecated the APIs the flow relied on.
The legacy POST /api/v1/credits/coinbase endpoint now returns 410 Gone. The documentation directs users to the web credits-purchase flow, so an integration built from the old announcement cannot depend on that endpoint to replenish its model-use balance.
