About
Tlx is a reference implementation of end-to-end encrypted group chat that uses an SSH server as a mailbox for opaque encrypted blobs, with SSH keys serving as user identity. A local daemon syncs and decrypts those blobs into a SQLite database, and the whole system is built in standard Python with no external dependencies to keep the cryptographic design small and auditable.
Why it made the leaderboard
It's a small, auditable reference for building trusted-group encrypted messaging using SSH keys as identity, useful as a study piece or starting point for engineers who want minimal-dependency, well-understood crypto.
