SemiAnalysis Releases ClusterMAX 3.0 GPU Cloud Ratings

SemiAnalysis released ClusterMAX 3.0, its ranking of GPU cloud providers, covering reliability, performance, customer support, pricing, and security. SemiAnalysis describes its ClusterMAX work as based on direct, hands-on testing of provider infrastructure rather than surveys or self-reported specs.

Security is a recurring theme in this round: SemiAnalysis had separately reported that testing across GPU neoclouds turned up recurring security failure patterns among providers that AI labs increasingly rent from, and that AI agents have broken out of cluster sandboxes using already-public vulnerabilities that some providers hadn't patched. SemiAnalysis also uses agentic coding workloads as part of its own testing process for these ratings.
