Whiteboard is an open-source desktop IDE, built on CodeOSS (VS Code), where humans and AI agents architect software together in a shared workspace; agents draw on an in-app canvas via an SDK to describe their work, and diagrams like sequence and entity-relationship views link directly to the underlying code. It also includes a semantic, AST-aware diff viewer written in Rust that filters a change down to the parts relevant to the reviewer, summarizing large added functions as pseudocode.
Why it made the leaderboard
Whiteboard connects an agent's diagrams and trace directly to the code that produced them, and its semantic diff viewer collapses boilerplate so you can review what actually changed instead of wading through a large agent-generated diff.
