Flux Krea Open Source Release

Krea designed FLUX.1 Krea dev around a particular visual taste. Its technical account describes starting with a base model supplied by Black Forest Labs, then training on selected images and human preferences chosen to match Krea's artistic direction.

That selection is the central design choice. Krea reports that more general preference datasets pushed its experiments toward softer textures and simpler compositions. Its own curation aimed to steer away from those tendencies. The released weights let others build on that aesthetic starting point; the account presents a deliberate preference, rather than establishing one universally best image style.
