About
A single-page web app that shows what else was happening in the world around a chosen date. Users pick a date and time window, then scroll a world map to see contemporaneous events, which helps place history in context. It pulls events from Wikidata via SPARQL, shows period political maps from OpenHistoricalMap, and processes everything client-side.
