About
LokaDB is a Postgres wire-protocol proxy that stores selected tables' rows for chosen organizations in each organization's own Postgres, while the application keeps one connection string. An agent in the customer network opens an outbound mutual-TLS tunnel to a relay, so the cloud never connects into the customer network. Organizations can be moved out and back online while the application writes.
Why it made the leaderboard
Lets a SaaS honor 'our data stays in our database' without rewriting the data layer; only the connection string changes.
