About
lgtm is a CLI that reads each test block in a codebase alongside its implementation and identifies which tests are actually useless, so developers can tell whether an AI agent's passing tests genuinely verify anything. It runs on the Jev model via TypeSafe, using the user's own API key, and reports precision-optimized results so a flagged test is worth investigating.
Why it made the leaderboard
Addresses a specific agentic-engineering failure mode: coding agents writing green tests that assert nothing meaningful, giving developers a way to check real coverage rather than just pass/fail.
