Ox is a local, open-source agent that acts as a proxy between a user and the internet, performing tasks on websites and in apps on the user's behalf instead of requiring pre-built API integrations or connectors. As it operates, it can turn what it learns about a site or workflow into typed, reusable, validated capabilities that speed up future interactions with the same service, and because it runs on the user's own device using existing authenticated browser sessions, credentials and cookies stay with the user rather than the model.
Why it made the leaderboard
Instead of waiting on a maintained connector for each service, it studies a site once and turns what it learns into a reusable capability, running from your own device and browser session so it isn't blocked like datacenter automation.
