The Arcee API now includes GLM-5.3 and GLM-5.3-Flash. Two weeks ago we opened the catalog beyond Trinity so you can run your favorite open models from one endpoint: Trinity, DeepSeek, Kimi, Inkling, and now GLM. ➡️ Use them in nac for long-running, hands-off work.

Context

Two weeks after opening its API catalog beyond its own Trinity models to include DeepSeek, Kimi, and Inkling, Arcee added Z.ai's GLM-5.3 and GLM-5.3-Flash, meaning a developer can now call several different model families through one endpoint and one set of credentials rather than integrating each provider separately.

Arcee points to using these models inside nac, its own open-source , for long-running, hands-off work, though the post itself does not give pricing or comparisons between the newly added models.

Terms in this piece · Glossary
  • open weights — A model whose trained parameters are published for anyone to download and run — unlike API-only models you can access but never possess.
  • agent harness — The scaffolding around a model that turns it into a working agent — the loop, the tools it can call, and the rules for when to stop.
  • benchmark — A standard public test set for comparing AI models — the shared scoreboards behind every "model X beats model Y" claim.
  • AI agent — An AI system that doesn't just answer once but works toward a goal in a loop — taking actions, reading the results, and deciding what to do next.
