r3 is a local tool for reviewing output from AI coding agents, including HTML pages, Markdown documents, and code diffs, without arguing back and forth in chat. Users can open an interactive artifact or diff, select an element or passage to leave direct comments, let the agent revise the work live, and track each issue through to resolution, functioning as a self-hosted alternative to Claude's Artifacts feature.
Why it made the leaderboard
Replaces back-and-forth chat review of agent-generated artifacts and diffs with inline commenting the agent can act on directly, tightening the review loop for any coding agent.
