About
YazSes is a free, open-source, offline-by-default voice dictation tool for Linux, macOS, and Windows: hold a key, speak, and release to have on-device faster-whisper transcription typed into whatever app has focus. It also transcribes existing recordings and can capture meetings with speaker labels, without sending audio to the cloud or requiring an account or subscription.
Why it made the leaderboard
It gives builders a private, offline way to dictate prompts into any app or coding agent, with no data leaving the machine and no recurring cost.
