About

Frank is a configuration layer for AI coding agents that stops them from being sycophantic: it blocks reflexive agreement phrases, prevents the agent from caving when a user pushes back on code that is actually correct, and requires a command's output as proof before the agent can call a task done. It works across roughly 20 different coding agents.

Why it made the leaderboard

Frank installs behavioral rules and hooks across 20 coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Codex, etc.) that force agents to justify pushback and prove completion with a command, targeting the well-known sycophancy and false-done problem.
