Augur runs AI coding agents such as Claude Code inside a sandboxed macOS virtual machine with a full Xcode install, xcodebuild, and the iOS Simulator preinstalled, so agents can build, run, and test Apple-platform code without touching the host. It exposes only the current working directory to the guest and restricts network egress to a host-enforced allowlist, and also offers a lighter Linux container mode for non-Apple workloads.
