About
Vu is an experimental compiled systems language with Python-style syntax and Rust-style ownership rules, without lifetime annotations or unsafe code. The compiler checks types and ownership, translates programs to C, and builds a native binary with the system C compiler. It targets Linux on x86-64 and ARM64, and the compiler is written in Vu.
