Halis

About

Halis is a memory-safe, self-hosting systems programming language that compiles to native executables. Functions without a uses clause are guaranteed pure, nine effects (IO, Fs, Net and others) are declared and checked across the call graph, arithmetic and array access are checked, and untrusted input is tainted until sanitized. The compiler is written in Halis and the bootstrap checks a byte-for-byte fixed point.
