About
CueLight is an open-source turn detection model under 2 MB with about 0.5M parameters, built to listen continuously and evaluate audio every 20 ms. It supports English only and does not build on a Whisper model, trading language coverage for size. Training used data from Pipecat and SmartTurn, augmented with synthetic noise and reverb. A browser demo is available, and the default GRU version uses less CPU than the experimental SSM version.
