Context

Alibaba's Wan 3.0 makes clip length and resolution direct inputs to generation cost. OpenRouter's August 24 launch post offered videos lasting 2 to 30 seconds from text, images or references. The launch rates were $0.05, $0.10 and $0.20 per second at 480p, 720p and 1080p, with a limited-time 15% discount across every resolution. For example, ten seconds at 1080p calculates to $2 before that discount, or $1.70 with it. The billing unit is the generated video's duration, so both longer clips and higher resolution raise the cost.
