Memanto is a companion agent that manages long-term memory for AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex, consolidating context across sessions and briefing agents when they start so prior context isn't lost. It runs locally via a pip-installed CLI, stores memory as either a semantic vector backend or human-readable Markdown files, and gives users full ownership and export control over what agents learn.
