Introducing Chart Recognition In Upstage Document Parse

Upstage added chart recognition to Document Parse so information inside a chart can reach software that works with text. The parser converts chart visuals into structured HTML before passing them to a language model. That gives a document question-answering system access to information that ordinary text extraction could leave inside an image. The announcement describes a change in how documents are prepared for analysis: charts become part of the machine-readable content alongside text and tables.
