Hushkey

Hushkey is a macOS menu-bar app for silent dictation. The user holds a key and mouths words without sound, and the app reads lip, jaw and throat movement from the webcam and types the text at the cursor in any app. Processing runs locally, so no audio is used and no video leaves the Mac. It is a proof of concept, and accuracy depends on the pretrained lip reader and on how much the user personalizes it with their own clips.
