About
Rebuno is an open-source execution runtime for running AI agents in production, managing execution state and enforcing per-agent YAML policies independently of the agent's prompt. It dispatches agent tool and model calls as steps, records policy decisions and outcomes in an append-only event log, and replays recorded outcomes after interruptions so agents resume without re-executing completed steps. It ships with Python and TypeScript SDKs and examples for LangChain, CrewAI, Pydantic AI, Vercel AI SDK, and Mastra.
Why it made the leaderboard
Gives production agents crash-safe step replay and framework-agnostic policy gating (allow/deny/hold-for-approval) independent of the model's own prompt.
