About

ContextVeil is a Rust command-line tool that lets coding agents read files containing secrets, such as .env files and command output, while locally replacing enrolled secret values before that text reaches the LLM. Commands still execute and files still get read in full; only the specific values a user has enrolled are swapped for placeholders like <SECRET:NAME>, so the agent's workflow isn't blocked while credentials stay out of its context.
