Sill is a macOS system monitor that renders CPU load, memory use, and effort as a single animated wave along the edge of the desktop wallpaper, covering the last 15 minutes at a glance. It uses about 0.33% of one CPU core, needs no permissions or privileged helper, and stops sampling entirely when nothing is displaying it.
Why it made the leaderboard
It shows your Mac's load history as an always-visible ambient wallpaper element instead of a menu-bar number, with essentially no resource cost and no permissions requested.
