Translate Like Me is a macOS menu bar app that translates the current text selection in place using a global hotkey, supporting up to three language pairs with automatic direction detection. Rather than producing generic machine translation, it rewrites the output in the user's own writing style, and it connects to Claude, ChatGPT, or Grok through the user's existing subscription or API key.
Why it made the leaderboard
Translate Like Me translates selected text in place while keeping your own tone and phrasing, and runs on a subscription you already pay for rather than a metered API, which most menu-bar translators don't offer.
