About
Univo is a Python library, with a Rust core, for finding duplicates in strings, records and nested objects. It combines fuzzy spelling matching, local embeddings and field-level rules, so records with a conflicting value such as a different VAT number can be ruled out regardless of score, and each match comes with reasons. It runs offline with no server or API key, so data stays on the machine.
Why it made the leaderboard
Lets developers deduplicate structured records (names, addresses, nested fields) locally using fuzzy, semantic, or exact matching with per-field rules, without sending data to any API.
