Attar compiles React and TypeScript applications into native desktop apps, using Static Hermes to turn React's reconciler into machine code and Chromium's Blink engine to render HTML and CSS. It lets developers keep familiar web tooling (React, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui components) while shipping a compiled native binary instead of a bundled JS runtime, with early Electron-comparison tests showing smaller app size, lower idle memory, and faster startup.
