About
Trout is an IRC client for the terminal modeled on mIRC, with menus, a switchbar, a treebar, nicklist popups and an Address Book. It connects through a soju bouncer so you stay online and keep chat history while the client is closed. If you have no bouncer, Trout can set one up on a Linux server you reach over SSH, on a new cloud server, or on your own computer.
