faro is an unofficial, open-source Signal client for the terminal, aimed at people who work in tmux and SSH. It runs as a linked device alongside the phone and supports replies, reactions, edits, search, inline images and voice notes. Network, decryption and storage run off the UI thread so typing stays responsive.
