Hindsight is a macOS app that uses a vision-language model to automatically build a searchable timeline of your workday from screenshots, OCR text, and window context, grouping work that spans multiple apps (such as an editor, terminal, and browser) into a single task instead of just logging which app had focus. It supports local, on-device models so nothing leaves the Mac, or a user-configured external AI provider, and every entry stays editable with confidence levels and supporting evidence so unclear analysis is never presented as fact.
