Pivot is a real-time analytics database that runs low-latency, high-concurrency SQL queries on external Apache Iceberg tables or on Delta Lake tables it manages itself, without copying data into a proprietary engine. It serves queries over the Postgres protocol as a shared server or runs locally for ad hoc use and AI agents. Because object storage is its only state, instances can scale up, down, or to zero quickly. The vendor's published benchmarks (ClickBench, TPC-H SF1000, Star Schema Benchmark SF1000) report it faster than ClickHouse, DuckDB, DataFusion, and Spark.
