ClaudeLines is a community registry of customizable status line scripts for Claude Code, the AI coding tool. These scripts display real-time context usage, costs, Git status, rate limits, and other developer-relevant info in a persistent bar at the bottom of the editor. You can browse community-built status lines and install one with a single prompt.

What it can do

    User search or browsing intent → List of available, audited status line scripts for Claude Code

  • Install a status line script into Claude Code

    Selected script from the registry → Installed status bar script active in Claude Code environment

  • Display real-time AI context usage in a status bar

    Live Claude Code session data → Persistent bar showing current context window consumption

  • Display real-time cost tracking in a status bar

    Live Claude Code API usage data → Persistent bar showing running cost of the current Claude Code session

  • Display Git repository status in a status bar

    Local Git repository state → Persistent bar showing branch, uncommitted changes, and other Git info

  • Display API rate limit information in a status bar

    Live Claude Code rate limit data → Persistent bar showing current rate limit status and remaining quota

  • Share custom status line scripts with the community

    Developer-authored status line script → Publicly listed and audited script available in the ClaudeLines registry

Why it made the leaderboard

If you use Claude Code and want more than a generic status bar, ClaudeLines gives you a browsable catalog of community-built scripts — from token burn counters to Warhammer-themed displays — installable with a single prompt. The registry model means the variety grows with the community, rather than being limited to one developer's vision.
