About
waitwise is a Claude Code plugin that replaces the tool's spinner status words (like 'Pondering...') with content the user picks, such as affirmations, Zen phrases, or language flashcards. During setup, Claude can generate a custom list for any theme the user names, and the new lines appear immediately without restarting Claude Code.
Why it made the leaderboard
Turns idle wait time in Claude Code sessions into something useful or fun, a small but real quality-of-life plugin for the tool's ecosystem.
