Airlock is a macOS tool that runs AI coding agents such as Claude and Codex inside a virtual machine, so they cannot freely change files or reach the local network. It reports which commands ran and what changed before anything is brought back into your project, and internet access can be limited to specific hosts or blocked. It also works with Xcode projects and can run any command, not just agents.
Why it made the leaderboard
Runs agents in a VM, shows exactly what ran and changed before you merge it back, and can limit network access to named hosts. It also runs arbitrary commands.
