About
LokaDB is a Postgres wire-protocol proxy that lets a multi-tenant SaaS keep selected customers' rows in each customer's own Postgres database. The application keeps one connection string and sends the same SQL, while the proxy routes statements to the right database and moves an organization out or back online. This addresses enterprise requests that data stay in the customer's database without a single-tenant deployment or a data layer rewrite.
Why it made the leaderboard
Enterprise customers ask for their data in their own database. This proxy lets one app connection string keep working while chosen tenants' rows live in each customer's Postgres, moved online.
