LocalBolo is a Mac dictation app. You hold the fn key, speak, and release, and speech models running on the Neural Engine of an Apple Silicon Mac transcribe the audio and paste the text at the cursor in any app. Because transcription is on-device, no audio is sent to a server. An optional on-device language model (Qwen 2.5 1.5B) applies self-corrections and removes filler words.
