About

gspot is a command-line tool that inspects a repository, turns on linters and checks for the languages it finds, and writes rule files for AI coding agents. It pins tool versions so checks behave the same on every machine and in CI, and installs Git hooks that block commits containing bugs, leaked secrets or lint rules disabled without a reason. Rules and tools can be toggled, and setups can be exported as templates for other repositories.
