Vigo is a configuration management engine with one server and a single binary agent. Configuration is written in YAML rather than a custom language, and each agent corrects its own drift on every check-in, one second apart by default. The vendor reports about 7,450 nodes at a one-second cadence and about 30,000 at a relaxed cadence on one 8-vCPU server.
