Context

SemiAnalysis's $300 billion annualized-revenue scenario for SpaceX depends on rapidly building and renting scarce AI computing capacity. Its analysis assumes half of the additional 2027 capacity is monetized, with the other half used for training, and describes rental pricing of $30 million to $50 million per megawatt per year.

The authors forecast about 10 gigawatts of capacity by the end of 2027. These are assumptions about future construction and sales, rather than completed capacity or earned profit. The thesis rests on bringing power and computing equipment online quickly enough to capture premium demand.
