About
Emetgate is a deterministic verification kernel that sits between an LLM coding agent and a project's source tree, checking each proposed change before it's committed. It rejects edits such as placeholder or escaped function bodies, stale content hashes, or writes made outside a shadow copy, and only lets a correct, verified change through, so the model proposes changes but the kernel decides what actually reaches the repository.
Why it made the leaderboard
Adds a hard, deterministic gate that catches common LLM code-edit failure modes (fake edits, stale diffs, out-of-scope writes) before they land, independent of which agent produced them.
