Context

While building an app to rank open-source projects, the in this development account published by Stripe found that its planned in-memory voting limiter would not work on the app's serverless deployment. The repair combined Upstash Redis for rate limiting with a single atomic database operation for the voting flow, moving enforcement into backend services suited to that deployment. The agent could add the extra service through Projects once the developer consented. The author's takeaway is that an initial plan still needs checking against how the app will actually run, which is a distinct part of integration work.
