blc is a command-line tool that blocks websites on a schedule on macOS. A root launchd daemon keeps per-domain files in the system resolver directory and answers lookups for blocked domains with a no-such-domain reply, which covers subdomains. Pausing or unblocking requires a written comment of at least 50 characters, which is logged.
