Enzyme is a local-first command-line tool that indexes a folder of Markdown notes so coding agents such as Claude Code or Codex can search them. It reads folders, tags, links and dates, generates guiding questions called catalysts, and ranks notes by wording and meaning together, with search running on the user's machine. It helps agents answer questions that span many notes written over time.
