Model Salt is an MIT-licensed MCP server that gives a language model randomness from outside itself, so repeated creative prompts produce different results that still follow the request. The model calls a tool, receives random draws to settle its choices, and then completes the task. Setup commands exist for Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and Kimi Code. Comparison results on the project site are the author's own.
