Silta is a self-hosted assistant that serves multiple users from one Matrix account and runs on Claude Code, with each person using their own Claude subscription. It answers questions, does web research delivered as PDFs, and runs scheduled monitoring tasks. It writes its own compaction summary with a custom prompt, so conversation context and its picture of the user carry across context limits.
