Toast is a batteries-included, terminal-based IDE that ships with managed language servers, an integrated file tree, multiple file tabs and built-in themes, aiming to give terminal-first developers an editor that works out of the box instead of one built from scratch like Vim or Emacs. It deliberately excludes AI features and telemetry and installs via Homebrew.
