Runyte is an open-source terminal workspace built around a modal text editor written in Rust, combining files, terminal panes, and Git views in one interface with a fuzzy finder that searches across files, buffers, and terminals. A persistent client-server mode lets processes and LSP servers keep running while the user detaches and reattaches later, and it adds features like markdown rendering and prompt editing for working with CLI coding agents.
