phpClaw is an open-source PHP framework for building AI agents, providing a built-in ReAct tool-calling loop, memory drivers, prompt-injection guards and adapters for Laravel, Symfony, WordPress and other PHP platforms. It works with any LLM provider by checking for API keys like ANTHROPIC_API_KEY or OPENAI_API_KEY, so developers avoid writing their own agent loop or hand-rolled tool dispatch.
Why it made the leaderboard
It gives PHP developers a batteries-included agent runtime instead of hand-rolling a tool-calling loop and injection defenses on top of a generic LLM SDK.
