About
Anchorpoint released a free desktop GUI client for Lore, Epic's version control system, aimed at non-programmers who need to work with Lore repositories without a command line. It quickly displays revisions, branches and visual previews, and supports side-by-side and overlay comparisons of binary files such as Unreal Engine assets, 3D models, audio, video and PDFs, including detecting mesh or UV map changes between revisions of a 3D model.
Why it made the leaderboard
It gives game studios and artists a visual client for Lore (Epic's new VCS) with side-by-side diffing of 3D models, Unreal assets, audio/video and PDFs, capability command-line Lore usage doesn't offer to non-programmers.
